Hemoglobin A1C / Microalbumin Calculator For Palm OS 3.0 or higher
Simple Calculator that easily Calculates Average Plasma Glucose and "MicroAlbuminuria"
The calculator consists of 2 parts:

1. The top portion which calculates the average plasma glucose from the hemoglobin A1C

2. The lower portion which calculates the "microalbuminuria"

The mean hemoglobin is conviently calculated by using 2 dropdown lists which allows the practitioner to rapidly enter values for the Hem A1C as shown in the photos. The user then clicks the “Calc” button and then the value is shown directly below the dropdown lists. The user may also click the "mg/dl" label under the "Average Plasma Glucose"  which is actually a button to calculate the the values for mean average glucose.
The urine creatinine is entered in the first text field followed by the urine microalbumin. As noted in the photos, the mass units for the microalbumin can be either be micrograms or milligrams and milliliters or deciliters for the volume. These are also entered by convient dropdown lists. Click the "Calc" button and the results are listed below and are categorized into:

No Microalbumin

Microalbumin Present

Macroalbumin Present

Clicking on the "Info" button pulls up a form which better gives a definition of microalbumin vs. macroalbumin.

I have also added a keypad checkbox in the right upper corner with the user's selection stored in a database. When checked, a keypad pops up with the user enters either text field, this can be turned off by unselected the checkbox.
