Controlled Substances Prescription Tracker Lets go through an actual process of adding a medicine. Lets say we want to prescribed Ativan to our patient. From either the Comp or Fav list, select Ativan then the dose, quantity, and refills. The date is automatically set.   Part II   After the appropriate data is entered the save button is selected and the information is stored in our database and seen on the list. If a specific med or date is selected, a pop up message appears with all the meds in detail. If need be selected the delete button would remove that line of code.   I have found the popup essential with some of the longered name medicines like for example, lomotil as seen in this picture Select the med info button and a detail description is give for each med including all the doses and a complete list of all the pharmaceuticals in the med.   Another favorite feature of mine is that every med has a dose specific feature. Take Lunesta for example, when the Dose Spec box is checked (it's the default) the dose list shows only that meds specific doses, in this case 1, 2 or 3 mg. Uncheck this feature and every conceivable dose is available including an edit feature to add more doses if need be.
